This is a really good thesis. You include Big Data, but you probably want to capitalize it. You address the cost of privacy, and include the narrowed topic. You also frame it all with a “yes, but” statement.

I agree with Kole that you a good thesis. You may want to be more specific about the field though — do you mean saving lives through research? You could also clarify your stance by using words that indicate that you believe it is worth any trade off that is made for privacy. Consider the laws that are currently in place to protect patient privacy.
